Covey chapters.indigo Review Using the many-faceted cheese as a microcosm for life's truths, Spencer Johnson asks Who Moved My Cheese? Like biting into an unknown cheese for the first time - we hope it'll be Brie and not blue cheese - we must be ready to accept life's surprises. Johnson offers provocative advice on why there's more to life than solid dependable cheddar and why expanding our horizons means trying the world's cheeses - Finnish lappi, fabulous feta - and how enjoying new "cheese" frees us up for life's possibilities in today's changing world. Go on. Take a bite of a new cheese and find out what you really want. Reader Reviews Average Reader Review: Number of Reviews: 12 1. Cheese Reviewer: Paul from Nova Scotia (pmacdonald@usg.com) Date: 10/20/2002 2:15:49 PM Excellent. I highly recommend. This book is for everyone. After I read this in one sitting both my wife and mother read it. We all came away with some useful insight. 2. Worth every penny...and more Reviewer: Bob Sintzel from Ottawa Canada (Bob_sintzel@Yahoo.com) Date: 3/6/2002 9:52:39 AM This book will force you to look at yourself in an entirely different way. A light-hearted and amusing journey into the realm of self discovery. As you read the book, you'll begin to see yourself as one (or more) of the characters participating in the journey. You may not like what you discover about yourself during your journey, but believe me, you'll benefit from each and every discovery you make. After reading this gem for just two minutes, I simply couldn't put it down! 3. Who moved My cheese Reviewer: Maria Spadaro from Toronto (maria@yahoo.ca) Date: 3/20/2001 12:34:18 PM A fabulous book. I strongly recommend all organizations to let their employees read this book. It has great insight on how to deal with an ongoing changing world. It is especially helpful to organizations that are downsizing or going through major restructuring and employees are been outplaced. It is easy reading and fun. It certainly will get you to take a bite of the cheese. 4. Who Stole 2hrs of my time Reviewer: A poor sap that had to read this from Ottawa Date: 2/25/2001 10:51:03 PM I got this book for free and still feel ripped off. The book apparently is 96 pages, 70 of them filled with plenty white space and large print, with every fourth page filled with a picture of cheese. It is very repetitive and drawn out. We get it, the cheese has been moved, get on with the story. The whole story could have been written in a single page, but how could you sell that, right? I fail to see why every one is praising this book, but I still can't explain cults either. The only one to benefit from this book is Spencer Johnson, and obviously making a killing at it. 5. Great & Simple! Reviewer: Susan Montoya from Waterloo, Ontario Date: 12/15/2000 11:12:52 AM This book was given to us by our Manager when he decided to change his career path after 22 years. He moved out from our department to face a new challenge in another department within the company. This is one of the most excellent books I have ever read. You can apply the concept of the story to your personal life and in the workplace. Read all of the reviews...
