Train employees on corporate loss prevention and cash handling procedures. Ensure ongoing adherence to these policies and procedures. Analyze Profit & Loss statements and develop proactive plans to grow the store as best possible. Set priorities and foster teamwork within the store demonstrating leadership by providing training, motivation and coaching for your direct reports. Manage the store's human resources through effective succession plans and recruitment of top performing employees at all levels. Encourage, promote and demonstrate excellence through the establishment, communication and follow-up of performance standards. Train and develop employees to consistently deliver Indigo customer satisfaction and exceed performance expectations. Ensure established merchandising guidelines are executed to maximize sales and profits. Conduct analysis and provide input for improving stock mix and inventory productivity. Maintain an objective perspective, balancing store and region needs and company directives. Resolve all customer complaints in a manner that leaves the customer feeling satisfied and positive towards Indigo. As Manager on Duty ensure that all staff are executing the Indigo selling process. AND YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS : Experience in retail, including direct experience managing operations in a superstore environment or previous multi-unit management experience. Excellent information systems understanding and human resource management. Proven record of profitability and budget management. Availability to relocate within a 50 km radius of store is required. Some duties require heavy lifting and repetitive bending. May require prolonged standing. Exceptional analytical, interpersonal decision making and organizational skills.
