Pippin's Gondorian Armor
"Peregrin Took: Guard of the Citadel"
I will make both the formal and battle versions of this costume.
Here is the formal undershirt. Made of red/black shot taffeta with quilted sleeves.
Chainmaille sleeve before being attached. I used the European 4-1 weave with 3/8" stainless steel rings.
Battle undershirt
Some pics of the velvet surcoat with the White Tree of Gondor- over the formal shirt and Hobbit length trousers, and the black velvet cloak- lined with red/black shot taffeta and quilted yoke.
