Tori is by far my favorite singer/artist. I started listening to Tori back in '93. Started collecting all her cd's from that point on. I have most of her Bee-sides, but I am missing a few.
I was finally able to see her in concert for the first time on April 4th 2003 in Vail, Colorado. It was one of the rare times that she did not do a meet and greet, and we had to stand out in the cold for about 6 hours to assure that we would get good seats (there was no way that we were going to end up with crappy seats after driving over 10 hours to see her.) The night was just pure magic. She looked like a fairy queen. I almost came to tears a few times, but I think I mainly just tried to take it all in. I didn't want to miss anything. I knew it wasn't going to last, and I also knew that it might be the only time I would see her live.
I can't possibly pick my favorite cd from Tori. They're all so different and unique in their own little ways. Each one is beautiful and wonderful in it's own right. The same goes for asking me to pick my favorite song. That is just downright impossible.
I've given myself an impossible task. I'm going to list 5 of my favorite songs from each cd, and believe me, I am struggling. There are some that I am leaving out..and they're screaming at me..."what about me? don't you like me too?" I love so many, alas, there are so many that I must limit it. Just know that I love everything. This is a list to point out the 5 from each cd that really grab my attention. The ones that I always look forward to hearing. If I had to choose only 5 from each, these are the ones that would make the list. Mind you, I'm going to place them in the order they appear on the cd, so I'm not picking favs out of the 5 :-p
