The royal couple arrive for a grand gala banquet thrown in 1955 by TM King Umberto II and Queen Maria José of Italy in Estoril on the occasion of the wedding of HRH Princess Maria Pia of Savoy, Princess of Italy, and HRH Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia. Madame wears the diamond, sapphire and pearl parure sold at an auction in the late 1990's.
