The
Wishing Pool
One
day while I was wandering
Within a wooded glen
I came upon a pool of
water.
Like no other pool
I had ever seen before
Shimmering like the
morning dew
Beneath the summer's
gold.
The pool was so inviting
I got down on my knees.
And what I saw was so
amazing
I just had to rub my
eyes.
To make sure I saw
What I did see.
What I saw was so amazing
It was not just any
dream.
But more...A Fairy's
paradise
Waiting to be seen.
I saw a band of fairies
fluttering to
And fluttering fro.
Among the sweetest
smelling flowers
My senses ever smelled.
The sounds that they were
making
Were so pleasing to my
ear.
They were sending
messages of love
For only me to hear.
They told me I could make
three wishes
Upon their wishing pool.
Now I pondered for a
while...
Of what my wishes might
be.
But...
I really couldn't think
of anything
I really wanted for just
me.
So this is what I said to
them instead...
If I could make three
wishes
Upon the wishing pool
I would wish for my
friends
A life without worry
A life without pain.
I would wish for my
friends
A life full of happiness
And filled with love.
And the third and final
wish
I told them just for you
my friend
If the fairies would
allow
Would be that life treats
you well
And all of your
Wishes and dreams come
true.

The
Children of Nature
"The children of
nature, of Pan's own
song,
Here, then there, then
thou art gone.
Each breath of air or ray
of light,
Each flowering herb and
dew of night.
Hidden round all visible
things
A fairy spirit beauty
brings,
The rain, the snow, the
windy field,
The hue and scent the
rose doth yield.
All nature is the fairies
art,
Only seen by those of
purest heart.
Fairy
Book
In
summer when the grass is
thick
if mother has the time
She shows me with her
pencil how
a poet makes a rhyme
And often she is sweet
enough
to choose a leafy nook
Where i cuddle up so
closely
when she reads the Fairy
Book!
In
winter when the corns
asleep
and birds are not in song
And crocuses and violets
have
been away too long
Dear mother puts her
thimble by
in answer to my look
And i cuddle up so
closely when
she reads the Fairy Book!
