The Cast:
In Order Of Appearance
Notes By Prof. and Drama Coach
Severus Snape

Ensemble Member: Draco Malfoy
Draco is currently a third season veteran of the Chipping Sodbury Chapter of the Victorian Citizens of Thespia Players Society (V.C.T.P.S.), Local 429. He has participated in three previous school productions, including the lead role in last year's highly successful musical rendition of Peter Pan, and as Pharaoh in the company's 1995 spring production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Ensemble Members: Vincent Crabbe, Jr. & Gregory Goyle, Jr.
Vincent and Gregory celebrate their return to the stage after an absence from last year's spring musical as lost boys. Apparently the idea of being "lost" frightened them so much as to abstain from the performance. They both wish to thank Dr. Sidney Friedman of the St. Mungo's psychiatric division for helping them overcome their mutual cases of acute Topophobia (Stage Fright).
Ensemble Member: Ronald Weasley
This will be Mr. Weasley's 4th production for the school in his acting "career". In all Honesty, he only won the role of Capt. Hook last year on the sheer strength of the fact that there was no one left to take the part.
Ensemble Member: Hermione Granger
This is Ms. Granger's 7th year performing with the H.S.T.E. (Hogwarts Student Theatre Ensemble), and as such will be receiving tonight a special Award of Merit and Dedication to the Theatre Arts from the Hogsmeade Chapter of the V.C.T.P.S., Local 572. Her more recent roles have been Wendy from last year's... Memorable production of Peter Pan, and as Eliza Dolittle in the previous spring production of My Fair Lady. Damn Overachiever.
Ensemble Member: Harold J. Potter
Notable Past Performances.
Parts Held (spring musicals): Peter Pan: Lost Boy no.5; My Fair Lady: Jockey/Nobleman no.1; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: Joseph; Brigadoon: Extra/Chorus Member; Fiddler on the Roof: Sasha/Intoxicated Russian no.2
(The bloody idiot didn't play in The Tempest. Ha. No award for you.)
Ensemble Director: Seamus Finnigan
A talented Director/Producer/Writer for an half-blood his age, Seamus has taken on the role of autocrat for this year's musical, having been involved in practically every aspect of the show. Of course it does help that his family is loaded. The chipping sod. Oh, yes. Choreographer as well. Bloody hell...
Ensemble Member: Blaise Zambini
Blaise has seen one too many Monty Python films. Consequently, her acting style follows as such.
Ensemble Supervisor and Special Guest Artist: Severus Snape
(Written by Prof. A.P.W.B.Dumbledore)
Ah, Severus... 0h I remember his school days well. he was an excellent student, though quite reclusive. he still is, now that I think about it. He really needs to work on his social skills, the poor chap. For instance, during a recent Yule Ball (I do not recall which) I attempted to persuade him to don a jovial pair of faux caribou antlers. I said to him, "come on, all you have to do is put on these. It'll be good for morale!" But nooooooooo. he said he'd look like a quote "fecking..." Oh, what was it he said? Bullocks, now I can't remember. I do remember something of the lamb skin slippers I got for him that year. I had to practically beat him over the head with his own *ahem* to even try them on. I mean, do you know how much lamb skin costs these days? Let alone the meat it was sheared from! I mean, mutton is so fecking expensive these days. No that I'm Jewish or anything, I just love the stuff. Oh, wait, I shouldn't have said that. Damnne. Now I'll have to erase your memories. Higitus Figitus Migitus Mum, Pres-ti-dig-i-TON-I-UM!!! Right, now that's done. Wait, can they still hear me? What? Damnne.
Special Guest Artist: Lucius Malfoy
Returning to the H.S.T.E. Stage for the first time since his own graduation, Lucius pulls off his role with the flair possible only by being an immense prick. He was, however, a damnne good assistant gaffer in his day, if I may say so.
Special Guest Artists: Vincent Crabbe Sr. & Gregory Goyle Sr.
Only comment: Tweedle-Dum & Tweedle Dee, Through the Looking Glass, 1972.
Special Guest Artist: Cornelius Fudge
First performance. We only wish his demise was real. Bugger.
Special Guest Artists: Argus Filch & Mrs. Norris
Being the self-proclaimed best Head Gaffer and Stage Manager in the History of the H.S.T.E., back in the day he simply oversaw the lights and props (and he still does). Ah, back then he still had the hanging manacles. One cracked bulb and Lucius felt it for weeks... the damnne cat was always just there to trip over... and kick.
Special Guest Artist: Tom Marvolo Riddle
The Order and the Dark Lord have come to a temporary truce. Lord Voldemort, Tom Riddle, has returned to the H.S.T.E. stage with a blast. For the first time in fifty-five years, the H.S.T.E. has their best actor of all time back in their grasp, and they'll never let go again. he has agreed on a truce for one month out of every year as to be a part of our productions from now on. His last (and greatest) performance was in 1943, his seventh year at Hogwarts, holding, for the fifth year, the lead role, which happened to be in this case, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. After his graduation, he went on to perform with the traveling theatrical group, Homer's Muse, which dedicated their talents solely to performing Gilbert & Sullivan productions. Of course he later became the Dark Lord, but we won't hold that against him. Obviously, he was more than willing to take the part. Though he has been gone from us for many years, his skills haven't faltered in the slightest and have made this performance truly great.
Special Guest Artist: Spunky the Llama
Spunky flew in from Chile Peru specially for this show. He has worked previously with the H.S.T.E. as the real half of the Push-me-pull-you in our '89 performance of Doctor Dolittle. Cute little thing, really...
Special Guest Artist: Mdme. Rosmerta Allewnch
An excellent singing voice for a bartender, if I might say so. She was previously brought in as a consultant for the tavern scene in the spring '93 production of Fiddler On the Roof.
Choruses and Others

Ensemble Members:
The H.S.T.E. Masse Chorus
The H.S.T.E. Chorus is a select group of the best singers we could find in the student body. They have been with us nearly since the H.S.T.E. began. Basically, we forced everyone to audition and if they sang well, they were permitted to join. In fact, if they didn't want to, I "convinced" them to. I can be very persuasive.
Special Guest Artists: The Drunken Chorus
Yes, they really were drunk. We just pulled them up from the Three Broomsticks with Rosmerta. We basically did the same thing for Fiddler. Amazingly, they were the same people in the same seats with the same drinks. Scary.
Special Guest Artists: The Evil Minions of Hell Who Drag Fudge Down to Certain Doom
The Evil Minions of Hell Who Drag Fudge Down to Certain Doom are, in fact, not Evil Minions of Hell, but the Hogsmede League of Pyrotechnitions and Effects Artists. They were also willing to help us with the storm in the '92 production of Shakespeare's The Tempest. They are the best in the business, but we do ask one thing of them. Please, please keep your interns under control!
