If the above statement describes your view of Anarchism, then I'm very sorry to disappoint you...but you're completely mistaken. Actually, what has been described, in a nutshell, is our current political structure on an international, national, and local level. That evil little thing we like to call Capitalism.
Anarchism is the belief that all forms of organized authority and government, primarily, but not limited to, Capitalism and its State, are the root of every evil and problem in society that we see today. Anarchists believe that everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, class status, sex, nationality, sexual preference is born equal, with equal opportunities to live a healthy, relaxing and fulfilling life along side their fellow working men and women.
Authority creates power. With power comes the abuse of power. With the abuse of power comes oppression. That makes 2 very broad and general groups, one enormously larger then the other, called the oppressor and the oppressed.
We believe that not one woman or man is a born a criminal, not one woman or man is born with any intention of doing wrong or harm to their fellow brothers and sisters unless it is done out of passion. Anarcho faith is that people being nothing but good is innate.
However, their surroundings and class status, socially, politically, and economically determine the outcome of the "Good Boys and Girls" from the "Bad Apples". This division of society, whether racially, ethnically, financially, sexually, or by class is what we seek to abolish and destroy, along with MANY other aspects and key structural componants of our current system. It will only happen through the destruction and total eradication of international Capitalism and other oppressive regimes through an armed struggle.
Poverty, war, the everyday slave wage and financial rape and sodomization of the workers, druglord terrorists that corrode our streets with their poison, 3rd world exploitation of natives by the Industrialized Western Nations and its Allies and Corporations, getting mugged at the corner store, kids getting killed in the streets, suicidal depression, homelessness, and so on. They are all a direct result of Capitalism. These are a few examples of societies disgusts caused over one little thing that everybody wants, and nobody ever has enough of, and the wealthy will kill, torture and rape you and your family to get it....
MONEY AND PROPERTY, which translates to POWER
We believe in the abolition and total eradication of power in every way, shape, and form. From the clergy and organized religious institutions, federal police, international police, to the White House and European Parliaments, Hierarchies, Fortune Corporations and its CEOs/Higher Ups. From ridiculous and racist tyrannical Ok’s like the Monroe Doctrines to the NAFTA Act, which are there for the sole purpose of exploitation and industrialization of countries in South America, its people, its land, and so on. Whether it's a boss at the workplace or a policeman patroling our streets or a big shot corporate executive or a Capitalist property owner hand in hand with Corporations gentrifucking our neighborhoods. The titles are irrelevant. They all have one thing in common...
POWER
Power over us, our communities, our destinies, our families, and our lives to keep us down; suppressed and oppressed. Which in turn leads to people, mostly Working class, being depressed, angry, hostile, and numerous other emotions that cater to societies current chaotic surroundings. They have a never ending battle to own everything and everyone, in every region of the world. Race, ethnicity, nationality, sex mean nothing. No one, except the richest Capitalists of the richest nations, and the richest Capitalists of the poorest nations will be unaffected and prosperous. While the majority of the inhabitants in the world will feel and live like shit all their life as a direct result of their wealth and power.
Our demands are very simple, however they are very controversial, due to the chaos and disorder generalization that the media loves to portray us, as well as some of the spikey haired punk kids who think Anarchys about sitting on a street corner drinking beer with dirt crusted to the back of their necks. We want a society built by and for the People in cooperacion with each other on an equal level of participation and say.
We wish to crush Capitalism and its structure on a local, national, and international level; seizing control over Capitalist properties, which are now privatly owned by the Ruling class, and have them run by the Workers through local autonomous Working divisions or collectives. We wish to terminate all power and status in society, in turn leaving everybody equal.
We fight for a Democratically run, corruption, organized religious, government, authoritarian, Corporation, ignorance free society; a society without any form of Dictatorship or authority. Peaceful and Loving in everyway. A dedicated and educated society for the better future all of mankind. People will work in cooperation with each other to keep the peace and look out for the well-being of their fellow women and men. From community to community, the people, not one person, will have control over everything. From the workplace to the neighborhood to the after hours, it will be controlled by the Workers for the Workers. Everyone will have everything they need to survive. From proper, adequate housing, food, clothing, to much spare time to relax and kick back and designate your own work hours. Everyone would do their part to keep the society functional, as we do now. Not because you "have to do it", but rather because it is in your nature to "want to do it”.
