A Christmas dinner for all those

Kid lies awake with his eyes all aglow.
He'll find it hard to sleep tonight.
He knows that Lou is on her way.
But what he doesn't know is Jimmy's on her sleigh.
And the other riders are gonna spy
To see if Kid and Jimmy's sparks are gonna fly.
And so, Teaspoon's offering this simple phrase
To the riders from Kid to Lou
Ride safe, if you please, come home safely, can you please?
