Dread. That’s what she felt when she read the fax that Amy Gardner had sent Josh. Dread that Amy was now the First Lady’s Chief of Staff… and would potentially be in Josh’s life more with this job than any of her previous ones.
Was she ready for this? Was she ready to watch Josh go through the wringer that Amy was bound to put him through? She cared about Josh so much; she hurt for him when his relationship with Amy had deteriorated the first time. Could he go through that again? Could she? Dread. That’s what she felt.
