Easing Memoriesby Allison K. East  Jack really hated what Martouf was doing to Carter. He understood why, of course, but that did not mean he agreed with it, Carter was still coming to terms with the fact that the Tok’ra Jolinar had blended with her in the first place, deliberately accessing the snake's memories put her through a little too much, in his opinion, even to save her father. Especially when they woke in the middle of the night because the memories of being tortured had Carter screaming in pain, thanks to the memory recall device. Sure, Carter agreed to do it. She was like that. But the look on her face when she had to confess to Martouf just what Jolinar had done to escape Netu… Carter should never have to experience the memory of that shame when she did nothing to earn it. So Jack resolved to put a stop to it. They could find other means of escaping Hell; he wasn’t gonna let Marty put her through that again. He beckoned the Tok’ra operative into the corridor.   Like it? Tell the author what you think!
