Book One
SUMMERY
Will asked Kitan to interrogate the two Force-sensative thieves, meanwhile
handing her a datadisk with some information on it. Kitan reads what's on
the data-disk, reacts with mild surprise, then decides to enlist Karyndra's
aide. They take the not-so-dynamic duo into another room, leaving Sun Tor
Way and Wart to Will's devices.
Will leads them outside where there waits a speeder. Sun Tor Way takes the
wheel and Wart takes tactical (leaving Will to sit in the back). The speeder
starts moving on auto-pilot while Will starts talking a bit about who the
two thieves were. Ultimately, Sun Tor Way asks where they are going, and
Will explains (rather briefly) that there is someone they need to see.
They land on (and I do mean ON) an office building, and after they all get
off, Will presses a remote and the speeder shrinks down to a size coperable
to a brick. He pockets the speeder and moves at speed into the building. He
knows where he's going, so Wart and Sun Tor Way have no choice but to
follow.
Will bypasses the security points with little difficulty, and soon the two
Padwan's find themselves in a large meeting room full of people. Will walks
right up to one of them (a Bothan), grabs him by the scruff of the neck and
starts trucking it out of there.
Security barges in, and two Sith ignite their lightsabers. In a brief but
intense fight, Wart and Sun Tor Way manage to get out ahead of the Sith
(though just barely) and follow Will to a kind of solarium. Will re-expands
the ship and hops aboard, leaving Sun to pilot and Wart on tactical.
In a stunning display of piloting and gunning, Sun and Wart manage to stave
off further attack as they crash through the ceiling and make a rather
successful getaway, thanks to a rather well-timed cloaking device.
Will begins interrogating the Bothan, and asks about a gathering of the
seemy underbelly of the Republic, a gathering that Tarr will likely attend.
The Bothan claims he knows nothing, but through the efforts of Will and
Wart, the Bothan begins to talk.
Once they get the information out of Bothan, they realize they are being
pursued, and Sun takes off... They ultimately dump the Bothan onto the
street (very much alive, with his tail tucked between his legs) and return
to base. Just as they do so, the place explodes.
Long story short, they do not find any bodies among the wreckage, they run
away from some odd-looking security droids and make it to the top of a
building, wherein they are attacked by flying units. They run, but Wart gets
all fed up and jumps on one of the units, takes out the pilot and takes it
over. He gains control in time to see that several of the pilots fellows are
about to attack him, so he cuts the power, uses an illusion to make the ship
appear to fly off in four different directions. Meanwhile, Will and Sun
follow Wart's lead. Will has little problem, but Sun kills the pilot by
accident and the unit flies out of control.
Wart comes to his rescue, but only to an extent, for Sun bravely leaaps from
the unit onto Wart's. He climbs inside and they fly toward Will, but Will
links to Wart, informing him to travel to a set of specified co-ordinates.
Wart and Sun do so, they ditch the unit, hail a taxi and get tehre just
fine, but something is wrong.
Again, long story short, the two thieves have been taken by three Sith, so
Sun and Wart devise a plan: Sun pulls the fire alarm, emptying the building,
and distracts two of the three Sith into following him, while Wart frees the
two from the floor above. It is mostly successful, but things don't go
entirely as planned (resulting in a rather quick fall from the fourth floor
for Wart and pitched combat in close quarters for Sun.) But ultimately they
get to where they need to be, after Wart collects the two Sith's lightsabers
(the third having been blown up when Wart leaapt from the fourth floor,
chucking a sonic grenade behind him, vaporizing that particular Sith.)
GAMEMASTER
Kitan takes the data pad from Will, stands nodding her acknowledgement to
Will as Wart and Sun leave the room and the bldg. She stands still for full
minute before she turns to Karyndra "Will has changed, and not for the
better, but not against us (Jedi), he contains much anger." All this is
said in more of a lost in thought manner, and not really engaging Karyndra
for discussion or acknowledgement.
Kitan then turns her attention to the brother and sister. They are gone.
Both Karyndra and Kitan are dumbfounded as to how the two could get away.
Kitan places the data Pad into her vest pocket and tells Karyndra to still
here and cover the comlink. Kitan runs out the door.
With seconds of Kitan's leaving you hear a shout and blaster pistol fire
on stairwell where just came up just 15 minutes ago and where your force
senses tell you Kitan just went. But there is no link to Kitan.
KARYNDRA'S ACTION
After hearing the blasters, Karyndra heads toward the stairwell to see what happened.
GAMEMASTER
Karyndra, sees Kitan half down the stairs on her right side with her lightsaber in her left hand. She is deflecting multiple shots at point blank range from two battle droids and two humanoid darkcloak figures. One tall human male lays at your feet, having been cleaved almost half from the shoulder to the waist. His lightsaber lies disengaged next to him. Two destroyer driods lay motionless on either side of him and third lies on the stairs next Kitan. Kitan has taken several hits on her right side and her right arm is gone. As you take this carnage before, your force senses tell that two humanoids are charging from behind you.
The first hits you with a critical hit to your back.
Karyndra rolls: 17 (+4= 21) to deflect or dodge or stands and receives 3d8 in damage to wound.
The second hits you with a non-critical hit to your right side.
Karyndra rolls: 14 (+4=18) to deflect or dodge or stands and receives 3d8 in damage to vitality.
GameMaster Note: To turn to face your attackers (from behind you), will take you out position of the landing, also out of the line of fire from those at bottom of stairway, but also out of position to assist Kitan. Your Force Senses tell you Kitan is very much into wound pts.
Also your Jedi fighting knowledge gives you awareness that it iseasier to fight one attacker at time when the space is limited (like the stairwell). And both of your attackers are Sith, armed with lightsabers.
KARYNDRA'S ACTION
Karyndra backs into the stairway, keeping a leary eye on both of the Sith, meanwhile reaching out with the Force to collect the fallen Sith's lightsaber. The man's hand twitches, but retains his death grip on the weapon. Kitan's situation grows more dire as blaster bolts fly back and forth, but she holds her own against the four assailants. However, Karyndra leaps in the air and lands on the two droids, forcing them back, and slices through one of the men's armor, burning his shoulder. To her left, another droid prepares to fire, so Karyndra jumps up and whirls in the air, causing the droid to shoot the man she just burned, forcing the second man back, causing him to misfire his weapon and shooting the first man AGAIN. One of the Sith has moved forward and attacks Kitan, who manages to avoid his attack and dodge his blow, throwing him off balance and dropping him face-first next to Karyndra, who quickly dispatches him.
Flipping back and over, she lands behind the remaining Sith, slicing him on the trip down. In a quick pitched battle, Karyndra dispatches the last Sith, just as Kitan finishes off the last of the droids and human.
Karyndra grabs the lightsaber from the slain Sith at the top of the stair then she moves to Kitan, who hands her the data-chip WIll gave her and speaks.
"Take this to Coruscant... Will cannot be trusted. I don't know who he's working for, but it isn't the Jedi... It may not be directly AGAINST the Jedi, but it isn't for the Jedi." With that, Kitan fades away to nothing... The Sith she just dispatched suddenly turns and informs her that on no uncertain terms, she is to leave the building, then promptly turns to dust.
Karyndra turns and exits at a dead run, just escaping an violent explosion, which picks her up and carries her all the way across the street and into a wall. Picking herself up, she takes off running, beating down the fire of her cloak, then running to catch a nearby transport bus. As she makes the transport she turns... And sees Wart as he stands in the crowd in the wake of the explosion...
GAMEMASTER
Wart and Sun, have just arrived on the roof of the building that Will said he would meet them. But the bldg is now the focus of significant official activity (planet security and fire/rescue), something Will wanted you to aviod. The boy thief (Clef), is still dazed from his fall down the stair case, and the shock of seeing the Sith being cleaved in half by Sun Tor Wey . His sister (Clev) is on verge of total panick, but maintains physical support to her brother. Wart and Sun both feel the strong force bond between the two. Suddenly, Wart and Sun sense the total terror that Clev was responding to. And both feel their connection with the ship (specifically the Wookie (Crynt) and the Eagle (Sor)) was cut off and they know their force disguises are gone, at least two hours earlier than what was suppose to be. Will is no where in sight, but the third Sith is now on the roof and has been joined by two Destroyer Driods (they are moving quickly towards you, the Sith has his lightsaber on and is in attack position). (Sun is closest to the attackers). (you are all up at least 30m above the street, force control fall is possible, but damage will occur).
SUN'S ACTION
I charge toward the Sith and uppercut his crouch with my lightsaber, ready to block any on coming attacks.
Sun rolls 17 plus 13 = 30. Sun Hits (not a critical hit)
Sith rolls 16,
The Sith partically blocks and recieves damage to his lower leg.
Damage to Vitality: 1d8 rolls 6, plus (Sun's str mod) 6 =12
The Sith falls/rolls and counters with a back slash to Sun.
The Sith hits. (not a critical hit)
Sun rolls a 1.
Sun takes 20 pts of damage on his back, he is into wound, only 9 wound pts left.
Sun creates an illusion that he was cut in half and is dead.
Sun rolls 13 plus 15, the illusion is successful, lose 1 force pt.
The Sith, Wart, Clev and Clef believe Sun to be dead.
The Sith then turns his attention to Wart, Clev and Clef.
The two destroyer driods do not pause with the Sith and Sun's encounter, but continues to assemble for attack on Wart, Clev and Clef. They are 5m away.
Clev's action:
She picks up her brother, she does a force fall from the bldg to the street below. Recieves 2d4 damage and moves off down the street quickly. Rolls:6 damage.
The street has two planet security driods and a speeder (with one security driod and human officer) that just arrived to see Clev's fall from the bldg, and the speeder is pursuing Clev and Clef.
A Planet Security Air (note good guys) patrol is quickly approaching from above and behind the Sith and Driods.
WART'S ACTION
At the approach of the incoming enemies, Wart ignites his lightsaber in his right hand and one of the fallen Sith's in his left. The red saber sputters crimson and fades to a brilliant green in Wart's grip as he tests the mettle of the weapon and flexes his arms by twirling them across each other. He takes a defensive posture as the droids initiate their attack.
Droid #1 rolled a 10 (+5) = 15
Wart rolled a 17 to deflect
Droid #1 rolled a 7 (+5) = 12
Wart rolled a 17 to deflect
Droid #2 rolled a 10 (+5) = 15
Wart rolled a 16 to deflect
Droid #2 rolled a 11 (+5) = 16
Wart rolled a 14 to deflect
Blaster bolts fly wildly in all directions as Wart runs forward, deflecting each shot as they scream toward him, closing the gap between himself and the droids. In a swift spinning manuever, he slashes one droid across the midsection, and then the other on the return swing through the leg.
Wart rolled a 16 (+12) = 28
Droid #1 takes 14 damage (3 Wound Remaining)
Wart rolled a 2 (+12) = 14
Droid #2 takes no damage
The first droid staggers under Wart's initial attack, but the young Jedi misses his second attack entirely, throwing himself off-balance, allowing the second droid to snap off a quick shot.
Droid #2 rolled a 17 (+5) = 22
Wart rolled a 19 to deflect
Wart takes 16 damage (21 Vitality Remaining)
Wart staggers back, having only deflected part of the shot and glances over just in time to see Sun Tor Way fall under the Sith's quick lightsaber blows... Fighting down the anger that should not threaten to take hold, Wart snarls and flings both his lightsabers, the right (blue) at the two droids, the left (green) at the Sith.
Warts blue saber: Wart rolled a 19 (+12) = 31
Droid #1 takes 10 damage (-7 Wound, DISABLED)
Warts blue saber: Wart rolled a 5 (+12) = 17
Droid #2 takes 19 damage (-2 Wound, DISABLED)
Warts green saber: Wart rolled a 7 (+12) = 19
The Sith rolled a __ to deflect
The two droids fall in unison and the saber returns to Wart's grasp, and Wart turns, awaiting the return of the other.
GAMEMASTER
The Sith rolled a 11 plus 5 = 16 to partially deflect, receives 3d8/2 = 8
pts, this added to Sun's 12 pts =20 pts into wound, the Sith is badly
injuried but not dead, nor incapacated. The Sith uses the force to redirect
the green lightsaber at Wart's head. The Sith has a critical hit, Wart is
able to partial deflect the lightsaber from his head, but recieves 2d4
damage to right shoulder = 8pts against vitality.
The Planet Security Ship lands, Will stumbles out, an obvoius injury to his
left side, rises a blaster shoots at the Sith 20m away and hits the Sith
lightsaber hand. Will Links to Wart: "Sun is not dead, great illusion" Will
Links to Sun: "Great illusion kid, but get off your butt and get that Sith,
we need him alive." Action: The Sith is struggling to get to the bldg edge.
A lasercannon blasts erupt around Will. Will dodges all three shots, drops
and rolls, raises his right hand sends huge lighting bolt at the black ship
that was tailing Will. The ship shutters and drops very ungracefully to the
roof. Two cloaked figures stumble out of the black ship, start firing at
Will. Will links to Wart and Sun: "Wart go get the kids, Sun get the bad
guy (Sith), and take them to Landing Bay 23, at Tock Nod, We will be taking
a Doorten Transport that leaves in twenty minutes, I will meet you there,
and will explain all then. I will take care of these fools" Action: Will
deflects(bare hands)five shots.
SUN'S ACTION
Sun gets up says to himself "Time for that Sith to get a taste of his own medicine" Sun then takes out his bow and shoots both the Sith's legs He rolls 12+10=22, Sun's arrows hit the Sith in the thigh and lower calf. The Sith falls and sends a force strike at Sun, but misses. Sun uses force strike until the Sith is incapiated.
Sun rolls at 15 plus 10 = 25, Hits the Sith.
The Sith passes out. Sun lugs the Sith toward Sith's lightsaber and takes it. Then he ignites it so for ever more it will shine a brilliant blue. Sun jumps off the building with the Sith. Then once 1m away from the groung drops the Sith. Then journey off to bay 23 at Tock Nod, taking the Sith with him. Sun recieves 2 Damage from the jump.
GameMaster Note: As funny as it was for Sun to Drop the Sith, it was wise,
Sun is very low in wound pts, if he had not dropped the Sith, Sun may have
been incapaciated and of coarse the bow shots to stop but not kill, very
good. 500 Exp to Sun. Another 500 pts for the brave move against the Sith
and 1,000 pts for a very clever illision. Total 2,000 pts this round. This
is not a break point, so no upgrades yet.
Game Master Note: Very slick move on the driods, 500 pts, another 500 pts
for move against the Sith. Your round is not done yet. So continue.
WART'S ACTION
Scooping up the fallen green lightsaber, Wart puts them both away, running toward the edge of the building where Clev and Clef jumped off, and tosses a snappy salute to Sun Tor Way as he leaps into the air, slowing his rapid descent and recieving only minimal damage for his efforts (2 pts, 11 Vitality Remaining). Uses his heightened Force senses, he locates Clev and chases the panicked pair. As he nears, he links to Clev.
"Madam, I do believe you've gotten yourself into a spot of trouble... May I offer you assistance?"
GAMEMASTER
Wart sees the Planet Security Officer and his Security Driod are assisting Clev and Clef into the backseat of the
Speeder, and not too successfully, and Wart hears with force senses (Wart is still 20m away)the word "arrest".
At its utterance, Clef flys into rage and does a force strike on the Human Planet Officer. The Officer is pushed back hard
on the ground on his butt, but for the most part not harmed, but dazed. Clev does some kind of action to the driod to
shut it down, and it colapses on top of the Officer. Clev pushes Clef (who is still in a verbage rage)into the speeder,
glaces back at you. That glace tells you much and nothing at all, "come catch us if you can", "please save us from all this"
and "you are cute". It is not a link, but eyes can say alot. She hits the accelarator. At this point Wart is 10m away.
The speeder is in motion, but not at full speed. The direction the speeder is away from Wart. Wart also catches sight of
another small black ship (similar to one on the roof)and senses its weapon are powered up and are locking on the
speeder.
Also note your "fall" from the roof was noticed by the fire/rescue team and their two Security Driod escorts that arrived
just after Clev and Clef's "fall" and are moving quickly after you (30m back)and have a comlink with the "downed" officer
in front of you. In short the Security Driods are armed and ready to shoot, but they just don't know at who.
WART'S ACTION
Wart sees he is in a tight spot... On one hand, he could probably catch up to the speeder, but once he got there, would
he be able to deflect the fire from above, and then from behind as well?
He rushes forward, augmenting his speed with an energizing wave of the Force (Burst of Speed) toward the speeder,
meanwhile causing a brilliant light between him and the droids behind.
Wart rolled a 15 (+22) = 36 to Illusion
Though the droids know full well that the light source is nothing but trickery, the effects of the light are the same,
obscuring their view of Wart and the speeder. Using a controlled leap, Wart lands deftly in the open cockpit of the
speeder, igniting both his lightsabers and waiting for the attack from above.
Wart rolled a natural 20 to Force Jump
GAMEMASTER
Wart lands in the front seat (tach. position)of the open Speeder, next to
Clev (pilot seat). Clef is in the back seat lying down. The Speeder jolts
left from Clev's piloting to avoid you and/or the in coming black ship
volley of three lasercannon fire? You are not sure, and it does matter, you
are standing in the speeder and her piloting dodge just manages to avoid the
hits. Her mauver does allow Clev the opportunity to pitch you completely
out of speeder, instead she grabs your utility belt and push/pulls you back
into a sitting position, and closes the hatch, just missing your head (the
hatch), but in time to deflect another volley of three (that would have been
direct hits on you)from the black ship. Clev then punches the accelerator
and banks right down a very narrow street, notably a street with serveral
overpasses which she chooses to use as cover from the black ship. In this
short time for you to observe this, you also feel the cold steel of a
blaster pistol placed to your head. Clev is holding the blaster pistol.
Clev turns to you, and shouts at you "Stay out of my head, are you here to
help? Fire up those blaster cannons, hang on!!!(Action: Clev pitches the
speeder sidewides to squeeze through a space allowing only for 1cm of
clarence and she speeds up into slot (not down!!), you make it), you way too
cute to be blown away, You are Jedi!?, thought so, So where do we go?" This
took 6 seconds. Clev went from anger/fear/terror to this is a really cool
romp, also in 6 seconds. You sense she trust you, the blaster pistol was
never on and is now in her lap. Clef perks up and slaps you on the shoulder
and states very joyfully "Glad you can join us". You guess Clev to be about
16-17, and quite beatiful in a dirty/tostled way, dark red/brown hair and
bright blue eyes and very engaging smile. Why this missed your observation
before is....well she and brother been running scared, fear is never pretty.
But now she seems to in control and is more relaxed, but flying this speeder
like a Tor A Fin out of SoBaan (A bat out of hell). And smiling she is, Clev
enjoys a good chase when she is piloting. And she is hell of good pilot, the
black ship is losing ground and has not gotten one clear shot, yet.
WART'S ACTION
Wart winces slightly from Clef's boisterous clap on the back and tries not to
notice how pretty Clev is. A Jedi knows no
love, and the confused emotions roiling in the pit of his stomach showed Wart
just how far he ad left to go. Of course,
that, mixed with his sorely wounded body, he could just be reacting to the
opportunity to sit down. In either case, there
was work to be done, so he would have to deal with his feelings later.
Acting quickly, Wart wrapped the speeder in a net of obscurity (Illusion), a
simple feat effectively masking the speeder
from the view of their pursuers.
Wart rolled a 19 (+22) = 41 to Illusion
That done, he leans back in his seat.
"I am Wart, Jedi Padiwan and apprentice to Will of... uh, to Will..." he
murmurs in a formal but ingratiating tone. "I don't
know what information you two have, but it must be damned important if the Sith
want it, which makes it valuable to the
Jedi as well. So ask yourselves this question: Whom do you want to have that
information? The Sith, who will torture you
until you give it to them, and then kill you once you do; or the Jedi, who will
house you, feed you, and protect you to the
best of their ability until this whole thing blows over? If you pick the Jedi,
take this glorified bucket of bolts to landing bay
23 at Tock Nod and we'll get you gone from all this. If not, where you go is
pretty much up to you. For my part? I'm
going to meditate and let myself heal: I'm hurtin' pretty bad..." Wart
ruefully rubs his sore ribs and grimaces at his
charred shoulder where the droid's blaster grazed him. "All I know is this:
It's been a hell of an adventure so far, and
while it's had it's downsides, it's been damned exciting. I'd like very
much for it to continue."
And with that, Wart closes his eyes and begins to meditate to expedite his
healing processes.
GAMEMASTER
Sun just landed on the street next to the unconcience Sith. Sun recieves 2
pts of damage to wound. He now has 7 wound pts left. He needs to be very
careful.
The street is a mass of confusion, with people tring to see what happen in
the bldg. There is fire and lots of smoke. This works to Sun's favor, no
one saw his "fall" and the Sith appeared to just have stumble on the street.
In all this confusion there is a Speeder Cab sitting idle while the driver
sitting in the cab gawking at the scene. The Cab is only 3m away.
SUN'S ACTION
I run over to the cab and say to the driver that "I need to
get to Tock Nod. My friend here needs help and I know a medical transport
that is there."
The Cabby looks at Sun and the Sith, and shrug and says "No Problem" in very
cryptic Basic. The Cabby drops Sun and Sith at the main Terminal Entrance
(Cab Fare was 22 credits, including tip). The Sith is badly hurt and could
die if not healed soon. The Terminal is very busy, and no one seems to take
notice of Sun and his injuried companion. Sun does not see Wart, Will or the
sister or the brother.
WART: INTERUM
As they speed toward inevitability, Wart awakens from his meditation refreshed
and healed. As they have not yet arrived at their destination, Wart draws out
the two lightsabers he took from the Sith guards and then locates a laster
welding torch in the toolkit of the speeder. He then begins the meticulous
process of fusing the two ends of the saber's together to fashion a
double-bladed lightsaber.
GAMEMASTER
Wart remembering that they in a stolen Planet Security Speeder and about to
arrive at a very public space terminial (with lots of Security), changes his
mind about constructing a double bladed lightsaber for right now. He
focuses forces sense to determine Will's presence (no sense at all) and the
location of Sun and his not so friendly companion, remembering also that Sun
and the Sith were in very bad shape. And he momentary gives himself a kick
in the pants for not focusing of the recent events and his companions. And
remembers he has no idea how Clev and Clef got captured by the Sith and if
they know what happen to Kitan and Karydria? He sees becoming a Jedi Knight
needs one to think beyond the this moment and more specifically beyond
oneself. His Forces senses tells him that Sun is alive and at the Terminial
(somewhere?) and his is attempting heal himself and also to keep the Sith
alive (no small task). Wart knows he has 35 seconds to determine the best
place land Security speeder with least amount attention. And then locate
Sun.
GameMaster Note: the terminal has many approaches but only one main entry
for the public (that be Wart and company). The entry has the typical non
emergency Security. The entry allows both vehicles and Peds (Walkers).
Weapons are not allowed except if you are Security and/or Jedi. Hint:
Remember Will's directions, most recent and earlier.
WART'S ACTION
Wart had not forgotten his friends or his master, nor did the fact that they
were in a stolen speeder escape his notice. He places the welding torch in one
of the pouches on his utility belt after determining that he had not the time to
construct such a thing at that moment in time. Closing his eyes and
concentrating, he shifts the illusioon surrounding the speeder, adapting it to
appear as if the speeder itself were nothing more than a regular,
run-of-the-mill personal vehicle.
Wart rolled a 17 (+22) = 39 to Illusion
When they reach a point about ten minutes walking distance away from the
transport station, Wart turns to Clev and requests that she park the speeder in
one of the spots available on the street.
As she does so, he clips the three lightsabers onto his belt and uses a quick
Force mask to refract the light around them, making them appear, for all intents
and purposes, invisible.
Wart rolled a 13 (+22) = 35 to Illusion
As they land, Wart glances at Clev and Clef. Both looked haggard and
disheveled... The kind of look that would draw the wrong kind of attention to
them...
"Okay you two, I'm going to alter our appearance so Security doesn't stop us,"
he murmured. "I can't do anything to mask Force ability, but hopefully in the
crowd, anybody looking for us won't be able to pinpoint our location."
Quckly, he whipped up some disguises, so they appeared as locals trying to reach
the transport.
Wart rolled a 15 (+22) = 37 to Illusion
"Okay... We all get out and walk to the transport... If we get seperated, we're
going to Landing Bay 23 for the Doorten Transport. I figure we've got about five
or ten minutes to get there."
The three get out of the speeder and head off in the direction of the transport
station.
SUN'S ACTION
Sun Tor Way sits in the terminal next to the dying Sith... Sorely wounded, Sun gives his own strength to try and save the Sith... And fails... Despair settles over him, for if any more of his life is given to augment the Sith's, he will die... And then there is a tap on his shoulder...
Wart stands there grinning with Clev and Clef behind, and takes the youth by the hand, shaking it firmly, meanwhile using his own life-force to add to Sun's. Sighing in relief, Sun gestures to the Sith.
"Save him... He has valuable information."
And with that, Sun lowers himself to the ground and begins his healing meditation.
WART'S ACTION
Wart glances at Clev and Clef... It's clear that Clev has a heavy crush on him, which may prove useful, but ultimately may be a burden... A Jedi knows no love... So Wart decides not to exploit her feelings and turns to Clef.
"Could you check to see where the Doorten Transport is going?" he inquires...
"Sure thing, Boss!" Clef says quite loudly, clapping him on the back, then turning off in the COMPLETELY wrong direction... Sighing heavily, Wart turns to Clev...
"Could you straighten him out please?"
"You bet, cutie," she grins and plants a kiss on the cheek, then moves off after her brother. Sighing, Wart turns to the Sith and heals him... It takes a few attempts, but ultimately the Sith comes to.
"Where am I?" the Sith states groggily, then focusses on Wart. "You... I'm supposed to kill you... You saved me..."
"True," Wart murmurs, "but unless you tell he who you work for and why you're here, I will take that back..."
The Sith chuckles.
"I'm dead anyway... But since you bothered to try to heal me... I'll give you this: You cannot trust the man you work for." And with that, the Sith focusses on a point far distant then fades to dust...
WART AND SUN
Sun comes out of his meditation fully healed and sees the pile of dust that was the Sith, then glances to Wart...
"What'd you do?"
Wart shakes his head.
"Nothing... He turned to dust." Wart links to Sun and speaks mind to mind.
He told me that Will can't be trusted... I'm beginning to think he's right... Let's skip this transport and go right to Coruscant.
Sun nods, and they stand... Sun collects the Siths clothes to dispose of in Jedi tradition, and they move off to find Clev and Clef.
They find the twins speaking with the ticker clerk, haggling over prices... Clev seems to be quite aggrivated, but Wart moves to them and speaks softly in Clev's ear.
"We're going to Coruscant..."
Sun takes note of the final destination of the Doorten Transport, a planet on the very edge of the Outer Rim called Bin Flor, and they move off to the next direct transport to Coruscant and found that it did not leave for another hour and fifteen minutes. Settling down, Wart questions the twins about Karyndra and Kitan and finds that they know nothing of their fate, so Sun and Wart turn to discuss their future... And glance back to see that Clev and Clef have wandered off...
Sighing heavily, they split up in search of them, Wart one way and Sun the other...
Sun catches sight of Clev's cloak and follows her... Right to the outside of the women's restroom.
KARYNDRA'S ACTION
Karyndra travels on the transport bus to the main city transport station. She looks over the maps and finds the bus that would take her closest to the ship with Krynt and Sor. Just then she feels that her disguise has failed and that she can no longer feel the ship's presence. Karyndra looks for other means to get off of the planet. She finds a star port that has a shuttle leaving for Coruscant in just over an hour. She decides that she has enough time to go to the beach and try to figure out what happened and get to the port in time to catch the shuttle.
Karyndra arrives at the beach and sees nothing out of the ordinary. As she scans around she sees a spot in the distance coming toward her. As the flying object comes closer, Karyndra realizes that it is Sor. She lands and attempts to link with Karyndra. No words are able to be understood but Karyndra can tell that Sor is distressed. Sor then proceeds to "hop" up the beach in a "follow me" way. Karyndra follows Sor down the beach where they come upon an area where it seems that a large heavy object had been dragged. Along the path there are bits and pieces of what appears to be parts of the ship. As Karyndra surveys the scene she finds parts of another ship - black exterior. She also finds a piece of that ship with what seems to be an identification number on it, she pockets this for possible use later.
Sor all of a sudden screeches and takes off. Karyndra sees that there are three armed people running at her and they don't seem friendly. See makes a run for it toward the station (where she was dropped off from the bus). The people fire at her but miss. (The are to the right and behind her about 25 yrds and she has no cover.) Karyndra ignites one of her lightsabers. Then at what seems out no where four guys appear on her left (about 20 yrds behind her) and four more guys appear in front of her (about 50 yrds away and directly in her path). She then ignites her other lightsaber. The attackers fire and most miss, and Karyndra deflects the possible hits. She then force strikes all of the attackers on her left side. All four guys fall and the three on the right miss a step with the sight of the others spontaneously falling. The attackers from the front then shoot at Karyndra, one misses, one ends up with his gun jamming (he stops running), one has a shot that is deflected, and the last attacker's shot is deflected straight back at him - killing him. Karyndra then attempts to force strike the two one coming attackers, but only manages to slightly turn one. Then the attackers from behind and one from the front fire. Karyndra then feels claws on her shoulders and is lifted up off the ground out of the line of fire. Sor then "asks" Karyndra where she wants to go. Karyndra says the space port, Sor then says "Sun." When they get there Sor shrinks down to where she can be comfortably on one of Karyndra's shoulders. Sor again says "Sun," Karyndra asks if he is here, Sor indicates yes and Karyndra proceeds to look for him. She senses that Wart is also there and sees Sun, and feels that he is frustrated.
