Saga of the White Knight

White Knight: Worth Dying For

Black and cold surrounds a heart,

That no God dares to rend apart.

Demons walk the crowded streets,

Meanwhile all his words repeat:

"Not man, nor beast, nor foolish knave

Will send my greatness to the grave.

No friends will make an even score,

There is no love worth dying for."

And torment thrives in the war torn land,

The crimson knight will wash his hands,

Of blood that runs across his word,

The dying pleas will not be heard.

Heroes slain will rise once more,

To save a love worth dying for.

In a soul of black on white,

A dying flicker divides the night.

A ghostly face of long dead foe,

Brings back a faith from long ago.

Though yet there is no hero there,

The crimson knight 's begun to care.

Hatred falters in his stride,

The buried white knight stirs deep inside.

Arrogance crumbles, and in it's stead,

A sorrowful loss rears his head.

The evil that has swamped the land,

May fall before a Legend's hand.

The red that swallows all the light,

Suffers and dies against the white.

Heroes slain will rise once more,

To save a love worth dying for.

The light on black on crimson fades,

The flame yet burns despite the rain.

The knight once dark but now made right,

Takes up his arms against the night.

Darkness fails like teardrops fall,

There is none left to heed death's call.

Heroes slain will rise once more,

To save a world worth dying for.

And as quickly as the kingdoms rise,

The evil king as quickly dies.

To fight in fear and win the day,

Is not to fight and run away.

To know all the things that are risked in war,

Is to know all the things worth fighting for.

A tarnished soul can be redeemed,

A white knight reborn in a crimson scene.

Though darkness pulls like undertow,

There's no place left for evil to go.

Vengeance served is justice done,

When the white knight is the only one.

The righteous who have heard the pleas,

Will bring the evil to it’s knees.
