Here is a collection of my lyrics. Chances are some have already either been adapted or have originally been born of music. i tend to work either way.. whatever comes first. I know they are lyrics when the music plays along in my head as I write. When it is something I haven't learned how to play yet, I learn quickly and make as much notation as possible. Sometimes however there is only music and the lyrics come later, because they fit, because it works and they compliment one another. Dark Poetry this is some dark shit. Really.. it is dark and depressing and to some it could be considered inspirational. These usually come out of a state of mind where the world appears like an absense. Yes, an absense, the lack there of, when it disappears. As a bipolar.. yeah I know this place, it is my best friend towards the end of September all the way through till about March. It's funny, maybe I don't mind being imprisoned by Hades anymore. Revelations Yeah, as the darkness starts to disappear i begin to feel the fertile landscape again. When the moon decides to let the sun take over for a while I begin to see the revelation and revitalize my soul with personal revelations. This is where I am able to realize things again, and turn the shit into a garden and cast away the demons of or personal default and self destructiveness. Rants Occasionally I go through phases where I complain. I go off about oxymoronic issues that have stressed me out. usually it is the USA Governement I seem to be complaining about. Whatever. I suppose a complaint can be poetic as well and I suppose I show here a different style of writing. They are more like articles written in a different perspective.. perhaps to some they are meladramatic. To me, they are releases, i hate holding shit in. Journal this is my personal journal, spontaneous thought that errupt in everyday life i suppose. This page is most frequently updated, and since i am horrible about every day shit, I tend to skip about. It is me to the core, the thoughts that consume me in a form that is usually not an issue, but can be. Its just another form my shit comes out in. If you want an update on me and the changes I am facing follow me through my journal of life. i invite you whole heartedly. The Psycho Poet Next Door Series This series was developed as an experiment to do something new. its intent was to give a new perspective to readers. Its form is written to bring you as the reader into the scenario or situation. In and of itself, it too takes many forms, and I expect you will be brought into worlds that are all too familiar and yet at the same time very vague to you.. I as the writer and speaking from personal experience but am placing you as the reader inside my actual mindset and for a few short moments you will become me. it is concept used already, but i say that it is new because I as a writer rarely reflect using the "you" form. In all the scenerioes you may see the familiar line, "so there you are", it is like the tag line letting you know it is part of the series. Take a peek..it's my latest inovative expression.
