 THE BATTLE CONTINUES... The Galactic Empire is serching for the rebel alliance using probes that are being sent all over the galaxy. Meanwhile on the planet Hoth, the rebels are building up their forces in secret until they find one of the droids and guess the the Empire knows of their location. Beginning an evacuation would take awile. Soon Empire blockades the planet but cannot bombard the planet because of a planetary sheild. The Empire lands AT-AT Walkers and begins to invade the evacuating base. The evacuation is slow because of the blockade and using an ion cannon, they can disable the ships in the flight path of the transport only while the sheild is open. The walkers advance and take over the base. Just in time, Han Solo, Leia, C3P-O, and R2 leave and escape but are soon followed by the Empire and are chased into an astroid feild. They hide in an asteroid and try to repair the ship. When they leave, the hyperdrive still does not work and they advance the Star Destroyer and as soon as they fly over the bridge, they shut down the Falcon on the Star Destroyer which dumps trash before hyperdrive and leaves with the Falcon behind. Han flys away but is followed by Boba Fett. Han goes to Bespin to see Lando Callrissian. But what they dont know is that it is a trap. Lando made a deal with the Empire to leave Bespin forever, but he had to turn in Han, who was used for bait to get Luke Skywalker to come. Luke was training with Yoda and saw them suffering while using the force. He had to save them. Darth Vader was testing his trap for Luke and froze Han into Carbonite and gave him to Fett. When Luke got there he found Darth Vader and started dueling. Eventualy, Luke gets his hand cut off and with nowere to go but down, Vader tells him the shocking truth about his father, Darth Vader is his father. Luke falls down the hole into some kind of chute that leaves him hanging from the bottom of the floating city. Leia somehow sencing where Luke is makes them turn around, because they were escaping, to go and get Luke. They saved him and made it to the Rebel Fleet. While Luke was recovering, Lando and Chewie were going to Tatooine to begin the recue of Han from Jabba the Hut. |
