I recently had the pleasure of viewing Talos (aka Tale of the Mummy)... or at least the first ten minutes, which is what I really cared about. Why just the first ten minutes? That's the extent of our dear friend Ronan's screen time. A pity really, he barely makes it past the opening credits.
Ronan plays the character Young, who along side Christopher Lee, is a treasure grubbing tomb robber... all in the name of science, of course.
Things are looking bright for Ronan and the rest of the team who have just discovered the entrance to an undisturbed Egyptian tomb. A glorious day indeed, that is, until they encounter a slight downturn. Namely, death by bad special effects.
Oh well, worth the dollar rental along with "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".
[toast]"Here's to the lost treasures of men."
"What's in a name? It's what he possessed in life that counts on the open market."
"Surely the best people we know are going to hell anyway."
Sir Richard: "Breathe through your nose!"
Young: "Or blow it out your arse."
[about the mummy's curse] "Obviously lacking in self-esteem. Oh well, as long as he was rich we won't hold it against him."
"Shall we begin? History awaits!"
