Me names actually Michael Vanes, but because of my Italian heritage, I have taken the name Miguel DeVanes.
I'm 16 years old at the time of writing (16/03/02) and am studying for my GCSEs, and I'm now starting to worry a little bit, cos Im gonna fail Maths, Science and Spanish :(u
I enjoy football, and some have compared my skills to Ian Rush or Tony Cottee, as I am a predator in the box. I am also a great bowler and swimmer, but I really love music and films. I also enjoy reading, books or comics. I love the Viz, after years of reading it under my parents bed on Christmas day, I can now buy it in the shops!
I am currently appearing in Grease at school, so check it out. It should be top!!!

I got back from a revision course in Camebridge yesterday after a week their, and a 3 day science course at school last week. Man, I'm working like a dog and I will probably still fail! Admitedly, Camebridge wasn't as bad as I thought, and I met some sound people. Tom, from Peterbourgh, and Dave and Miranda, exiled to Belgium, big up yourselves. We went to see Ali G, which wasn't brilliant, but it was something to do, and we got very badly drunk on the Monday night. Tom and Dave were both 18, and got some whiskey for us all, 5 big bottles. I do not drink as much as some people I know who will remain nameless, but I was fairly hammered that night. I got up perfectly fine the next morning. We just all did a lot of talking, but Dave got stuck on top of a beam on the ceiling of Miranda's room, and stayed their for half an hour! Brilliant stuff. Miranda couldn't hold her drink though, and was sick all over her room. I pity whoever has to move back into that room! It stinks of puke, and their are also several ash burns on the floor, but it was a good night. I also bought 3 CDs at a local record store, Miles Davis, Kind Of Blue jazz album, Bob Marley Rasta Man Vibrations and Public Enemy, It Takes A Nation Of Millions.... I learnt bit too. I had a Grease rehearsal today, which was a bit of a downer. Going to see Latics tomorow, Vs Stoke. We stil have a minor outside chance of reaching the playoffs, but even I, the eternal optomist must admit it is pretty unlikely.

Grease is rapidly approaching, so if you don't have a ticket, your missing out. Oldham lost 2-1 to Wycombe, but Smarty nabbed a penalty. Carlo is the hardest working player on the planet, and deserves some credit. I went to Latics vs. Stoke last weekend, and we played them off the park, like we did with champions Brighton. We cannot make the playoffs, but on a bright note, look out for "one size" Fitz Hall, a defender in the mould of Big Pad Viera, a steal at £20,000 from Chesam United. I brought Casino and Taxi Driver on VHS (yes, VHS, I am still living in the primitive world of VHS), both of which were on sale.

Grease went fuckin sweeeeet! Absolutely belter. Me, Belly, George, Konnerz and Tim were the T Birds! Everyone was brilliant! The after show party was amazing. I tried the herb for the very first time, and I whitied (as I am told it is called), managing to avoid puke on my Che jumper!!! It was an all night job. We went to George's at about 2, and I dozed in the corner along with Poops and Christian, whose house I slept at, at about 5am. Great stuff!!!
