The beauty of light reflects on my wings
I seek the dreams of all living things
My flashing talons show I am strong
My eyes betray elegance and song
When freedom calls I am there
My cry heard while in the air
I am the dreamseeker
Forevermore
I protect the legend
from which I was born

Befriending Yourself

I fraternize with my own soul,
I know no one else to turn to.
The world is full of devastation,
I am the protector of myself.
Life is not glamorous,
I use my own individuality to rescue myself.
I am self-centered,
But how else may you be in a world of peril?
The soul that inhabits deep within me,
She only knows what to select.
The world of people befriending their selves,
It's only a game of competition between you and the others.
