The Mountaineers Foundation is a public foundation established in 1968 to promote the study of the mountains, forests, and streams of the Pacific Northwest, and to contribute to the preservation of its natural beauty and ecological integrity. The Mountaineers Foundation fulfills its mission by stewardship of important preserves and by grant-making. Through these means, it actively supports conservation in the Pacific Northwest. Although The Mountaineers Foundation has close ties to The Mountaineers, the foundation is a separate corporation with separate volunteer officers and trustees. The Mountaineers Foundation gratefully welcomes your financial contribution to continue and extend its vital conservation work. The Mountaineers Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
