COSMETICS/PERSONAL CARE

Of course, you don't wanna smell, so you need to shower. But are the products you use tested on animals? Are there animal products in them? The answer to both questions is probably yes. (Sorry.)

In soaps, moisturizers, shampoos, etc., watch out for:
-Stearic acid (comes from animal oils, like organs...ewwww!)
-Animal Protein (Ewww...I was about to use this dry scalp shampoo. It smelled really bad and it was brownish-black and it stung my eyes, but it worked. Them I happened to read the ingredients. Icky stuff, for sure.)

Luckily, they're not all animal haters....
Okay, first off, let me say that while I don't agree with animal testing, the companies that do test on them are NOT necessarily aninmal haters. I don't wanna be labeled a vegetarian Nazi, after all.
