A * B
A) A 1968 Panther with the rare Hirth opposed twin.
B) Another shot of the "flat-motored" 1968 Panther.
C * D
C) A 1969 Panther.
D) A 1970 Panther 634 with pipes and custom purple hood and dash. I think these pipes are some of the beautiful repros made by Greg M.
E
E) Two nice 1970 Panthers, a 303 Wankel and a 399.
F
F) A nice 1970 Puma, that I believe was in original condition.
G
G) Should '70 Puma seats be yellow or white? Well, I thought I had it figured out that the "consumer" sleds had yellow and the EXTs and MODs had white. But this is not an EXT/MOD and it has a white seat... UPDATE: The owner of this sled (Tom R.) contacted me and said that it is, indeed, an EXT. It also shows signs of once having the extra gas tank (for cross-country racing) mounted behind the seat. Could this be the same 399 EXT that is shown in the factory promo film "The Year Of The Cat"?
H
H) A nice "pride" of Cats. These belong to Jerry L. and Bill A. (of Arctic Restoration Specialties). Left to right: 1971 EXT 440, 1971 EXT 292, 1970 Puma 793 MOD, 1971 King Kat 800 (793 Hirth), 1972 EXT 440, and in the background is a rare Scorpion BullWhip.
