Powered by a Chevrolet 4.7-litre V8, Hewland gearbox, spaceframe chassis
Finished 3rd in 1967 New Zealand Sports Car championship, and second in 1969, Barry Keen and Brent Hawes driving
The car was bought and modified by Brett Hawes who, sadly, died in a 1968 Ruapuna race accident. Hawes' death was in part due to his decision not to use seat belts for fear of being trapped in the car in case of fire. The badly damaged car was rebuilt by Lyn Johnson, to be sold later to Larry O'Connor. It was later raced in 2.0-litre form by Geoff Scholes
