To get smoky eyes use a soft black eye pencil(try mac Eye Kohl in Smolder) to draw a thick line on the top lid (start at the inner corner and draw to just past your outer corner). Smudge the line with a cotton swab, the dust purply-black eye shadow (try MAC Eye Shadow in Embark) over the liner, filling in your whole lid but making the color darkest at your lash line. Finally, use the pencil to line the inside rim of your lower lid (first, sharpen it so you have a clean tip), and apply two coats of black mascara (try MAC Pro Lash In Coal Black).
