A whole caboodle of useless stuff about Ultimate games, inlays and adverts
- This fine advert (along with the B/W version) mentioned that Pssst was to be released on the 19k Spectrum. Maybe they were slightly Pssst when the typesetting was placed. :o)
- Alien 8 changed to Alien Eight when advertised on formats other than the Spectrum.
A possible reason why is that 8 in different languages would sound strange. Alien Acht, Alien Huit - giving the name a different meaning.
- The Staff Of Karnath became just plain old Staff Of Karnath when mentioned on multiformat adverts.
- KnightLore on the MSX had the game feature list from Nightshade printed on the inlay.
- Nightshade on the C64 was compiled into 2 different versions - one was in full colour so it looked just like the Spectrum version (complete with attribute clash) and the other had the main game area in monochrome which also made the game run slightly faster - still not as fast as the Spectrum version though.
- Sabre Wulf on the Spectrum is the only version to feature the `chirping natives` that give clues as to the location to the pieces of the Amulet.
- Underwurlde on the C64 had different games mentioned at the 3 exits. Just for the trivia fans from left to right... Nightshade, Blackwyche and Sabre Wulf
- None of Game Feature lists on Nightshade mention the Boots or the Potion Bottle but they all feature Extra Lives.. which don`t seem to exist.
- Nightshade (again!) on the C64 has a different ending to the Spectrum / Amstrad / MSX versions. It is well worth taking the time to complete the game for the extra words and music.
