OBJECTIVE:  This project will expand upon the students’ knowledge of how businesses use motivational incentives to increase productivity levels and morale of employees.  (Students should have already had previous lessons on motivational incentives used in a business and the importance of high employee morale as a prerequisite to this project.)  Students will learn how to use a variety of services on the internet; to use multiple websites to find similar information (comparison shopping); the importance and cost effectiveness of performing research prior to making a purchase; and the fact that they are allowed to choose their own vacation destination will keep them interested and focused on the project.

 

LEARNING STANDARDS:  Integrated learning and universal foundation skills.

 

COMPUTER APPLICATIONS USED:  Internet; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

 

GRADE LEVEL:  9-12
