Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your nervous system controls the function of every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body comprising your brain, spinal cord and millions of nerves. The chiropractic approach to better health is to detect, reduce and help prevent nervous system dysfunction.
Chiropractors seek to identify areas where biomechanical dysfunction or tissue dysfunction is affecting nerves, and to correct these problems. Correction is achieved in a number of ways. In chiropractic clinics, specific adjustments and soft tissue techniques are used. Stretching, nutritional advice, exercises and other methods are also used as indicated by the situation.
Chiropractic is an art, science and philosophy which is aimed at helping the body to help itself.
