| Bought this bike second-hand in Oldham.
Everything seemed OK at the time, however, on the 180-mile run back down
the A1 the rear brake was binding.
When I stopped at Letchworth I could smell burning and looked down to find the back brake and rubber shaft-drive boot literally on fire. |

Over £600 of repairs later the bike's
fine. The next time I suspect a brake's binding I'll get off and inspect
it!
I'm looking forward to both touring and commuting this bike in 2003. Watch this space. |
