100 Things. About me.
It seems to be all the rage right now among internet journalers. 100 things about me. You don't have to read them, but it's a bit introspective for me.
- I am 25 years old.
- I have one son.
- He is the biggest joy of my life.
- I want to have more babies after this one.
- So does my husband.
- I have been married for five years.
- I never thought I would get married when I was young.
- I married my high school sweetheart.
- We met in high school band.
- Even though I was in band, I do not play any instruments.
- I am more into writing.
- I am not good at it, I just enjoy it.
- I do not write anymore, except for this web journal, and a journal that I keep for our son.
- My husband thinks I should write more.
- My husband is more talented than I.
- People always underestimate him.
- I used to value intelligence.
- Now I value integrity.
- I consider myself both of the above.
- I also consider myself lazy.
- I have two inside dogs, even though we never had inside dogs when I was growing up.
- My dogs are two of my greatest irritations.
- I can't give them away, because we have history.
- Most people do not understand the above.
- I lived in one town for the whole of my life, until summer 2001, when we moved to Florida.
- I now live in Nashville, Tennessee.
- I am cornbread in a teasandwich world.
- I hated living in Florida, partly because of the heat...
- ...but mostly because I missed my family.
- I have four grandparents, six aunts and uncles, and nine cousins, not counting cousins' spouses and children.
- I used to see them at least once a week.
- I now see them every six months.
- I am extremely close to my parents and brother.
- My brother is 19.
- We hated each other when we were young.
- Now we trust each other.
- I don't know when it all changed.
- I used to attend school where my mom worked, and I saw her every day.
- I wish I still did.
- My husband graduated from recording school.
- I am terrified of being poor for the rest of my life.
- I hate working at a job.
- I want to stay home with my baby.
- My husband wants me to, also.
- I mostly hate working because i am stuck in entry-level jobs.
- This is because I did not finish college.
- Sometimes I am embarrassed that I didn't finish.
- I chose to get married instead.
- I made the right decision.
- If you would have said while I was in high school that I wouldn't finish college, I would have never believed it.
- I had a lot of friends during high school.
- I now only keep up with one of them.
- I don't miss most of them.
- I am not the same person that I was in high school.
- Several people have asked me why I am wasting my "intelligence" by not working to help people or solve some problem.
- The answer is because I would rather stay home with my husband and watch a movie.
- And I don't consider myself capable of great things.
- Ever since I was 12, I have wanted to own and operate an orphange.
- It will never happen.
- I have too much fear of the unknown, and I loathe change.
- I do plan to adopt children.
- My favorite food in the entire world is fresh green beans cooked by my Great-Grandma Perkins, who passed away several years ago.
- When I was born, I had four great-grandmas, and no great-grandpas. Three of my great-grandmas have since passed away.
- I have memories of all of them.
- One of my great-grandmas taught me to crochet.
- I don't really remember how, but I wish I did.
- I love arts and crafts, sewing, sculpting, everything artsy.
- But I don't have any real artistic talent.
- I want to take sewing and crocheting lessons, and eventually, I want to learn to throw a good pot.
- I have unusually small toenails.
- I love to get pedicures, except every time that I do, the lady painting my toenails remarks that they are very small.

- I have never smoked a cigarette or gotten drunk or seen illegal drugs of any kind.
- I wasn't allowed to watch various television shows as a child: Roseanne, The Simpsons, Ricki Lake, Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
- I still don't watch any of them.
- Except The Simpsons, one of the most clever shows on television.
- I am a crier. I used to cry every time my dad even looked at me wrong.
- Now I do the same with my husband.
- I know a lot more about the person that I don't want to be than about the person that I do want to be.
- Even though I am 25, I have a lot of growing up to do.

- Because I am prone to nightmares. Very prone.
- when I was little, I had a blue Smurf clock in my room, and when I was lying in bed hearing it tick, I though it was someone chopping the outside of our house with an axe.
- It took me a long time to figure out what it really was.
