tonight we broke out the [non-toxic children's] paint for owen's first craft project:
i wanted to get impressions of his hands and feet, and see if he enjoyed the feel of the paint, or any certain color.
he painted naked, to save his clothes from the impending disaster.
his handprints were an impossible undertaking [red smudges below]. i hate to say it, but it looked like a bloody crime scene. shouldn't have picked red.
he did a little freestyle painting on his own. his first artwork! it turned out so cute.
some of the paint on his cheek looked like a smiley face:
we just bought him his new big-boy bath ring, complete with spinny toy beads. he thinks they taste delicious!

at last, a clean and oh-so-sweet smelling angel:
