today is my last day of work before our vacation! yay! i am so excited. the day is dragging. i made our reservations today for our snorkel/sunset cruise. we are going to do that on tuesday. i can't wait for that. i have never been snorkeling before. the cruise starts with a boat ride to the reef, which takes about 45 minutes. the boat is a catamaran, which looks to me to be a giant sailboat with a flat bottom. then we snorkel for a while, then sail out to the ocean to watch the sunset. i think it includes snacks and drinks, too. that will be fun. i love riding in boats, and especially on the ocean. keith and i went on a dolphin tour when we went to georgia for vacation in 2000. hopefully we will see some dolphins in key west! the water is legendarily clear, unlike georgia, where it was pretty muddy.
so we are going to spend the weekend packing and cleaning house, getting ready to go. we have booked our usual dog lady to watch dante' and gabriel, so i can rest easy about that. she is good and cheap, so she was a real find.
sunday we are going to attend a new church called faith assembly. new to us, but it has been around a while. it is a big church. i haven't heard what they are doing for easter, but probably something pretty spectacular. i think that will really be nice. keith has had class the last couple of sundays, so finally we will get to go to church together, and not teach, just sit back and enjoy the service! what a treat. that is about the extent of our easter plans.

last night keith and i made our first trip to the swimming pool at our apartment complex. we've lived here for a while now, but never been in the pool. it is usually packed. but we went late last night for a swim. i hear that swimming is the best exercise for pregnant women. the water was SO cold. i couldn't believe how cold it was. yesterday we had a little thunderstorm in the afternoon, so that probably cooled it off. it took so long to get in. then we did some races (laps, but more tolerable if we raced) and got out. i think we will go back more often. it sure beats walking for exercise, especially in the heat.
i think rainy season is upon us once more. the afore-mentioned afternoon storm reminded me of last summer. seemed like every afternoon at around 3 o'clock it would rain hard for a good hour, then just quit. every single day. so i think we are back in the season. it is kind of bad for us, because with us only having one car right now (mine has died, temporarily i hope), keith is walking to school. he may need to invest in a slicker.
keith and i have started talking about baby names. i have to say, i had no idea this would be so hard! i can find very few that i like, and keith and i NEVER agree on any. especially girl names, they are the worst. we are open to any suggestions at this time, so if you have any, let us know.
