Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. butter or margarine (2 sticks)

3 cups of sugar

8 oz of sour cream (2 cups)

1/4 tsp. of baking soda

2 tsps. Vanilla

3 cups flour

6 eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour bundt pan. Cream the margarine thoroughly. Then add sugar and cream well. Mix sour cream, baking soda and vanilla together and add to sugar/margarine mixture. Stir in one cup flour, beat in 2 eggs, stir in one cup flour, beat in 2 eggs, stir in one cup flour, beat in 2 eggs. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The cake will rise quite a bit and will be golden brown. To test if it's done, stick a wooden toothpick in the top and see it comes out clean. If it does, it's done, if not stick it back in a couple minutes. Remove from oven, and leave it in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes before removing.
