What a beau! This one still retains the 'Ortofon-styled' bakelite (?) headshell. Imagine matching this up with a Garrard 301, 401 or Thorens TD124!!!

The very early SMEs uses the clip-on anti-skating attachment! You'd, of course, realize that the anti-skating is rigged on the 'wrong' side of the arm!

This counterweight must be huge! Not quite the norm for the standard 3009/3012 series 2, even the VTF weight looks likes double the size!
