My Macs... (not the komputar)

This pair of McIntosh XR1051 has been with me for the past 10 years and it's unlikely I'd swap it off. I like what it can do for vocals and the bass extension is good. A great all-rounder but at only 82db, it's quite power hungry. Driven now with the B&K ST-140, the bass control has room for improvement. I'm sure it'd shine with a >200wpc amp.

the tweet and mid...

Only the 10" woofer is active, while the passive 12" extends the bass.

Listening from an analog front-end, both the 'Mid Range' and 'Tweeter' is set to Flat. I'd adjust 'Tweeter' to -1 when CD is playing.
