This is my first tubed equipment and I'm still picking up the basic... 3 tubes are used in the phono-stage; 2 gain stages & 1 cathode follower. The Line uses another 3 tubes. I can use either Sovtek 12ax7 equivalent or Mullard cv4004 @ 110 a POP!! Sources tell me that the 12ax7LP is available from Martin (next to SLS) @ <20ea
