Nynäshamns Church

Nynäshamns Church, Photograph by Sean Creech (c) 2001 Placed on top of a rock, between the centre of Nynäshamn and the harbour, this is not a very old church, it was completed in 1930. This was due to donations from the Christian sewing circle and The Friends of the Church. They had been collecting money for around 5 years to finance the building of the church. It was designed by architect professor L. I. Wahlman, also responsible for other churches including Sofia, Tranås, Petrus amongst others. Inside the church is typically modern and functional.
