You will see this is a wonderful country, one of contrast, and variation (although there are a lot of trees!). There are 4 true seasons here - winter always snows but it's bitter cold -20C sometimes but summer seems to last forever with glorious sunshine, temperatures of 30degrees C and hardly any rain (unlike England).
Wherever you live, there is a forest nearby, and water too with little islands everywhere. Five minutes from us we have a beach called Nicksta, warm enough to take a dip in the summer months. Nearby in Ösmo, we have a lake called Muskan. It takes 3 hours to walk around it though. You find all types of wildlife, flowers, mushrooms, wild berries, insects, reptiles all around you, no need to look very hard.
