2002 was the year of the birthday cake. Number one was a fruit cake with marzipan and icing from my loving mother, and eaten in Exeter, a few days before my actual birthday. Not giving away my age here, but you can count the candles if you like. The heat from so many candles on such a small cake was intense, and the wax ended up glued to the icing. Still it tasted yummy.
Cake number two (centre photo) was made by my loving Karolina, featuring two pink marzipan pigs, and oops, you may just be able to see my age written on it too (yes, 21 that's right). This was a sponge cake with cream on top and decorated with red "stuff". Eaten at home on my actual birthday, it tasted yummy too. Cake number three furthest right was made by my loving sister of Karolina (Monica). Another yummy sponge cake with cream and decorated with car sweets! The inscription on the cake reads "Seans cake". Happy Birthday...hope you live til 100 years etc was sung in Swedish by the close family on Christmas Eve.
