St. Michaels Mount is the home of the St Aubyn family, and has been for 300 years. It is separated from the small town of Marazion by a 500 yard long granite causeway, reachable by boat when the tide is in. It is one of the most visited National Trust properties in Britain. It has beautiful gardens, shown in the foreground of this photograph, which contain rare plants, some of which grow outside no-where else in Britain.
