He had very public romances with Roald Dahl's daughter Tessa (aged
17) and nubile TV presenter Denise Van Outen (aged 16) -- Gadd was
soon convicted of possessing more than 4,000 child-porn images downloaded
from the Internet. Now 60 and prone to wearing eight-inch heels
and a wig, Gadd lives with his 27-year-old fiancée in Cuba.

pop impresario Jonathan King has been sentenced to seven years in
prison after he was found guilty of molesting schoolboys.King "exploited
his celebrity" to lure the boys to his central London home
where he seduced them with sexy pictures of girls, the Old Bailey
criminal court heard.The 56-year-old record producer and former
pop star was found guilty on September 27 of six charges of sexual
assault involving five boys aged between 14 and 15 between 1982
and 1987. |

Coronation Street star Adamson was arrested, held
overnight in police cells and then on 16 April 1983 charged with indecently
assaulting two eight-year old girls in his local swimming baths in
Haslingden, north of Manchester. His previous press articles hadn't
won him any friends, and rumours abounded, especially as he often
brought youngsters along to watch rehersals and he spent much of his
spare time working for charities and often held swimming classes at
local baths for small children. |

1958: on the eve of his 37-day U.K. tour, the British
press are shocked to discover Lewis' new bride was not only the
daughter of his bass player, but was also Lewis' cousin, and was
only 13-years-old. Lewis by then had gone through two marriages
by the age of 22. British crowds were aggressive, calling him a
"cradle robber." After only four days the British tour
was cancelled and Lewis return to America. Lewis' marriage to Myra
lasted 13 years, but two subsequent wives die in mysterious circumstances
adding extra impact to Lewis' longtime nickname -- "The Killer."

January 14, 2003: Essex police are to launch a new
investigation into the death of a man found in a swimming pool at
the home of TV entertainer Michael Barrymore. A
spokeswoman said officers would investigate suggestions by Barrymore's
lawyer that the dead man suffered injuries at a hospital after being
found in the pool. |

December 6, 2002: TV presenter John Leslie was arrested
over an allegation of rape and two further allegations of indecent
assault. The presenter,37, who strenuously denies the allegations,
was released without charge following several hours of questioning.
He was bailed until January. It is understood one woman alleges
she was raped in south-west London in 1998. Another woman alleges
she was indecently assaulted by Leslie in the same part of London
in 1997. The third woman alleges she was indecently assaulted by
Leslie in London last year. |

The 52-year-old was arrested in Birmingham and taken to a Surrey
police station, where he will be held until officers begin questioning

in. With the threat of a grand jury looming and the potential damage
to his career and superstar image, Michael Jackson settled out of
court with the boy's family for an estimated $20 million and the
criminal proceedings were dropped in 1994. It has been claimed that
his marriage to Lisa Marie Presley in May 1994 was a publicity stunt
to improve his image. |
