BAMS

Also known as Beaudesert Amateur Musical Society, ALSO known as BAMS Theatre Inc.. BAMS was founded back in 1980 by some people who lived around the area that wanted to put on some shows for the locals. The first musical they did was 'South Pacific', way back when, and since then BAMS has done at least one performance every year.

I've been in quite a few myself, starting with 'the Sound of Music' in 1990 (I was Marta J ).. since then I've been in 'the Little Rock 'n' Roll Show', 'Anything Goes', 'the Wizard of Oz', 'Annie', and just now I'm currently in 'On Our Selection: Dad & Dave'.

OOS is a great comedy, very Australian though. I'm playing Kate Rudd, and unfortunately she's one of the straight characters.. I think I get one laugh in the whole show. I'm the 'romantic love interest' character with an air of mystery around me.. ooh!
