I See Myself Beautiful
I see myself beautiful
I see myself dancing in an unexpected drizzle of rain with raindrops soaking my skin and crawling down my face.
I see myself crying under harsh white lights in a room where I can't see out but everyone can see right in.
I see myself atop a cliff with my hair flying madly in the wind and my arms outstretched as I am ready to fly.
I see myself skipping happily down a deserted stretch of beach as I hum to the seagulls and wade through the waves as they lap at my ankles.
I see myself behind a waterfall hidden secretly as the water tumbles down from up high and protects me here.
I see myself colourful.
I see myself stalking through the black night not sure if I am the hunter or the hunted with a primal fear in my eyes and animal instinct guiding me.
I see myself wild in the twinkling moonlight, dancing to a beat only I can hear in a glittery field of daisies.
I see myself dreaming.
