The Rules

And here we have them.. The dreaded RULES! I know that a lot of you *hate* reading these things but its a necessary thing for doll sites these days, so, I apologize in advance, but you'll find that my regs are pretty lenient. So, here I go.

  • First off, if you take one of the dolls contained in this site, no matter who made it, PLEASE link back to the Tudor Doll Company. If you don't know how to do this, please go to the "Linkage" page for code, and check later, we might have a little html help. The link doesn't have to be on the same page as the doll (unless it is one of the special dolls), but please don't bury it in your site- put it on a links page or something.
  • Please don't put our dolls up for re-adoption, or on one of those sites with pages and pages of collected dolls. If you want to adopt one, or even a few, please choose carefully. And if you want to use a doll in your layout, feel free- just remember the link!
  • You may edit any of the dolls here- as long as they do not have a © sign on the graphic. Please credit us in some way though- for example, don't edit one of Bronwyn's Creations and then say that you drew the whole doll. If you take the hair from one doll, make sure to say that the design is by whoever drew it. I am just as guilty as the next person when it comes to copying other people's designs- but I give credit, and I try to redo it myself if I can!
  • Other than that, there aren't any other real rules. Just courtesy- please don't send us rude emails! It gets annoying, and while I'm able to let it slide, many dollmakers would take their dolls down. So basically, if you can't say something nice, or give REAL constructive criticism (suggestions), then don't say anything at all! Its just rude!
If you've read all this, you should be proud of yourself. You can click here to get your gift for reading. :-)
