Welcome to the Friends of the U-Boat Archiv Page. The Archive was started By Horst Bredow in his home & has become the permanent home of The Archive to document the history of the Unterseebootwaffe & is Located in Cuxhaven-Altenbruch, Germany. The Archive harbors many pieces of history from the Unterseebootwaffe, Badges,Emblems,KTB's,Personal effects, Uniforms & houses many personal items of some of the top aces of the Unterseebootwaffe. Horst Has helped many of the Families of the lost crews find their loved ones from such documentation. Horst himself served as a U-boat Officer himself during the War. The Archive is not funded by any government funds or corporation. Just by individuals like you & I & is in need of members. FTU invites you to become a member of the U-boot Archive to preserve history & keep it up & running. The Membership includes *The U-boat Archive* Newsletter in the spring & the U-boat Archive yearbook in the Fall of the year. Both contain much information about the Unterseebootwaffe & what has been happening at the Archives.
