All blah-blah-blah aside, these are graphically bereft "pool rugs" for the ambitious object makers out there. They're dynamically-updating objects, like counters or, as you'll see when you download them, the Pluto's arches. This means that depending on if there's another pool tile next to them, they'll change their graphic state. Just like the P. arches, there are states for a single 'puddle,' a tile that connects to one other piece, one that connects on opposite ends, L-pieces, 3-way pieces, and X-pieces. What this all means is that if it's graphically conquered, you can make pool rugs that behave like the original pool tiles that come with the game - just place those, and pop these on top. They'll draw in the edging for you. Anyway, I thought they were kinda cool. No pic above, because I only hacked 'em - download 'em if you want some multi-facing fun.
