Chapter Library Pattern

Here’s a chart for knitting taken from the lead decoration on the big window in Durham Cathedral’s Chapter Library (I went in there to study, but ended up staring at the window for ages – oh well). Click here to see a floor cushion I made using this design. I knitted it using the Fair Isle technique, but it could be done with Intarsia instead. But I hate Intarsia and I like the thickness and stiffness of the fabric when worked in Fair Isle.
