The Story

The Calais Coach was about to pull away with the rest of the famous Orient Express. Luckily, Hercule Poirot and his "little grey cells" got there just in time to find their seat. He was approached by an American concerning the American's safety. Hercule Poirot declined the offer to provide protection to this traveler, and the next morning, the American was dead. Coincidentally, the train was also stopped in a snowdrift, making it impossible for the killer to have escaped. The famous Belgian detective interviewed each passenger and railroad staffmember who had access to the coach. The book goes on from there, displaying classic Agatha Christie perfection.
