On August 26, 2001, Guru Jim Ingram's Summer Silat Summit presented his senior instructors in the art and science of the Amerindo Self Defense System.   The summit highlighted applications and forms to Pukulan as taught to him by his father Jim Ingram, Sr. and of his teacher in Mustika Kweetang, William Lorio.

  During the summit Guru Ingram emphasized a few points. The fist being that your primary weapon is your mind. Second, one must realize that no one martial art is the best. Third, that the art he teaches is based only on survival, not sport. Last but not least, one must respect other cultures, other human beings and yourself.
