Godsmack is a band from Boston Mass. There self titled album recently went Gold. Godsmack has been touring for awhile and was part of Ozzfest 99'. In July they will be proforming at Woodstock 99'. Their album is great, and people who like rock will enjoy it a lot. Also check out their web site at www.godsmack.com
Sevendust
Sevendust is a great band who has a self titled album that won many Rock awards in 1998. They are also releasing a new album August 20, 1999. Sevendust proformed at OzzFest 98' and now is part of the Warp Tour, and will also be proforming at Woodstock 99'.
Staind
Staind is a great band. They made it into the music industry when Fred Durst (lead singer of Limp Bizkit) heard their demo (the song Mudshovel). Currently Staind is on tour with Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock and they will also be joining those bands and many more at Woodstock 99'. 
Great Bands
Under my "Great Bands" section i have some of my favorite bands. They are probabley some of the greatest bands ever, or great bands right now. This is only my opinion, so if you think the band i have in there sux, and a great band in your mind isn't there, it's because this is my opinon.
Nirvana
Nirvana, one of the greatest rock/grudge bands ever. Nirvana changed the face of music forever. Even though there isn't a band anymore, they are still great. They had 4 hit albums, plus a unplugged album. After the death of their lead singer they released a CD with all their hits on it "From the Muddy banks of Wishkah". Their first hit single "Smells Like Teen Spirit" changed rock forever. But then in 1994 their lead singer Kurt Cobain in his head with a shotgun. After that the drummer of Nirvana (Dave Grolh)went on to become the lead singer of Foo Fighters, and Krist Novaselic also started a new band. For all those Nirvana fans there are rumors of a new CD that will be released in April 2000, around the 5th anniversary of Kurt's death.
Limp Bizkit
Limp Bizkit is a great band. Their first CD (3 Dollar Bill Y'all) was released in 1997. Limp Bizkit toured getting many hardcore fans. They were part of the Family Values tour in 1998 and after that they released a video to their single "Faith". Just recently Limp Bizkit released their new CD "Signifigant Other", which sold an astonishing amount it's first week. Right now Limp Bizkit is on tour with Kid Rock and Staind, and will also be one of the many bands proforming at Woodstcok 99'. Also Limp Bizkit will be headlining the Family Values tour this fall.
