Man loves God as he must
because woman isn’t worthy of such adoration, and knows it.
Woman’s beauty for so long confuses man,
and he adores her as he would God.
But she is only the passageway pointing to a greater Beauty.
And so man confuses woman with his adoration of her.
Woman battles God for the soul of man.
He would give it her.
She would steal it away from God.
But she will not and knows later, after she has seemingly won,
she is unworthy of such a love.
Until then, man knows if a pretty woman loves him, he is saved.
