When bits of wisdom come our way,
our job is to take these gifts into our hearts,
stand back and let them grow.
We need do nothing more.

Then, as time passes
and though it appear to us and many
that we are ignoring them,
wasting and betraying our souls,
these droplets of wisdom build and grow,
accumulating greater and greater power till
one day, unexpectedly, and out of the blue,
our heads nod, the light goes on, "Uh huh!"
we grunt, silently or aloud, alone or not.
And we who once consisted of such an inner chaos
reshape and reform into a resilient coherence which is truth.
Slowly our new personal coherency vibrates in harmony, cadence and rhythm with its point of origin, its source--
and we are returned to God.
